Well last night was the Gerling Annual Christmas at the Annandale,and following in the fine tradition of this event,we all succeeded in having a blast!
the sold out crowd were so up for it!we had such a great time performing..i think everyone in the place were smiling,dancing and most importantly...off their face!..special thanks to Mat and dan from the annandale hotel for their kind hospitality ;) and to the redsunband and kiosk for supporting us!also massive shoutouts to Adam"ADWOK"Yee for djing and getting us all dancing like mad at the after party...when he dropped Seek and destroy by the stooges we all went nuts...spilling drinks all over the shop dancing,kissing,punching the air!also thanks to Ryan for doing our stage for the night and to mark"babyface"lambert for driving the gear!
BUT MOST OF ALL THANKYOU TO ALL THOSE LOVELY PEOPLE WHO CAME ALONG TO THE SHOW!
well everyone have a great holiday and look after yourselves and we will see ya next year...

Well we are back home in "aussie" now..the last show at the Kings arm in Auckland was excellent fun! the crowd were very friendly and seemed to really enjoying themseleves..and so were we!the coolest band in the world called Golden Axe played in a van outside in the carpark in the pissing down rain..check em out http://www.nzmusic.com/artist.cfm?i=937, they rule..the coolies were great as well...Wellington was alot of fun too..we met alot of really nice people along our NZ tour..massive shoutout to Blink from A Low Hum who organised the tour,were gonna miss you fella!....thanks also to everyone who let us sleep in their house!and to everyone who came along to our shows and danced!

Well New Zealand is beautiful!south island was really nice and fresh and beautiful..alot like Hobart..had a bit of hitch first off though...we arrived in Christchurch only to find that Air New Zealand had forgotten to send over our musical equipment from sydney..we had a show on that night in Dunedin which was an hour flight away form Christchurch..meaning that we were screwed..no equipment and we had to catch another flight to Dunedin...but Blink from A low Hum Magazine who is presenting our tour, freakishly found all the equipment we needed to play..including one of the only minidisc players (4th member of gerling) in dunedin..the show was excellent fun..everyone dancing at this rad cafe/venue called ARC. the dead c supported us too and the were fantastic..also great were operation rolling thunder..great line up!
Next up ,we met up with our equipment at the airport and played in Christchurch to a fantastic and great looking crowd!we had heaps of fun..i was a bit inspired by the dead c to make some noisy sounds with my guitar during the ending of Ghostpatrol only to have my beaten up Ibanez RoadstarII guitar too snap in half..it is officially in a coma..waiting for Mitch "the guitar wizard" from Zen studios to hopefully fix it..she has been my guitar since 1998...other wise i am sending her ashes out to sea...
So tonight we are in Wellington..looks likes it gonna be fun!

well Homebake was one excellent big party...we had so much fun as gerling DJ MODE ;)..as the people could tell..i think we were far too enthusiastic and excited on the day..maybe the straight vodka and 20 beers helped but was excellent fun..when we dropped the song by the flaming lips "do you realise" or daftpunk "one more time" i thought the tent was gonna fall down and catch on fire..people were going nuts..big shout out to everyone we met on the days..was awesome..also die!die!die! were amazing last night at the wolfmother show...oh and the chap in the homemade gerling shirt at homebake rules,and a big thankyou to space shower televison from japan ,lovely men...next stop for gerling is Dunedin in New zealand and then the gerling Xmas show at the annandale on the 23rd of december where we will be playing 2 news songs..YIKES>>
